Below is a list of software that I currently use on the mac.
Required, used every day
- Adium – Chat client
- Size Up – Window sizing, positioning
- TextMate – Text editor (Shortcut Keys)
- QuickSilver – Quick launcher, finder
- Tunnelblick – VPN software
- VLC – Video Player
- RDC – Remote desktop
- iTerm – terminal program (if you need this type of thing)
Not Required, but useful
- OmniFocus – Getting things done app (for iPhone too)
- Twitterific – Twitter client
These are my essentials, I have other software installed, but nothing used as much as these ones.
